NATASHA ledrew - OWNER /HAIRSTYLIST + COLOUR TECHNICIAN + EXTENSION SPECIALIST
Natasha was all about hair and fashion from a young age. She would style her sisters, take photos and cut and paste them to make magazine covers. she pursued her love of hair And attended Art and Technique hair school and quickly found herself in two of the top salons in Toronto. She worked along side amazing celebrity stylists who inspired her daily. she learned many different techniques and styles of colouring and cutting. Natasha has worked on such television shows as Three takes, The Mom show, City Line, E.T. Canada, and Super Star hair challenge. She has worked in numerous fashion shows, TIFF events, IFFA awards and more. She had the pleasure of styling for Cheryl Hickey and Rick Capenelli, to name a few. Natasha has been in the hair industry for 19 years and after 11 years at a high end salon Natasha finally took a leap of faith and opened MLC with her friend Ceilidh Costello. It had been a lifelong dream fulfilled to own her own salon. NataSha’s favourite place is to be in her salon working with everyday women. She feels there is nothing more satisfying then helping women to feel beautiful Everyday.
CEILIDH costello - OWNER / HAIRSTYLIST + COLOUR TECHNICIAN + EXTENSION SPECIALIST
At the age of
16, Ceilidh realized that her passion in life was hair. She started her career at Fish Hair Salon in Victoria, BC. she then moved to Vancouver to study at AXIS Training Systems. After her training, she landed a position at AXIS Salon. Two years later Ceilidh decided to try out for SLICE Network's Superstar Hair Challenge featuring Marc Anthony. She was selected as a semi-finalist, and headed to the city of Toronto. During her time on Superstar Hair Challenge, she placed 4th, which lead to a job offer from Marc Anthony, which she accepted. Ceilidh focused on her career and eventually became the Creative Director. Along with a booming clientele, she has also been involved with many fashion shows and photoshoots including: Fashion Television, CTV, Breakfast Television, DSquared2, International Toronto Film Festival, IFFA, Fashion Cares, Northbound Leather, Virgin Mobile, ET Canada, and The Mom Show. Ceilidh spent time training with L'Oreal Professional, which lead to being an Artistic Educator and Color Specialist. Always striving to better herself, Ceilidh partnered with her Friend and COWorker , Natasha Le Drew to open their salon! Ceilidh strives to give her clients the best colour, cut, style, and education when it comes to their look. She also loves motivating and encouraging her Team mates to set goals; if you pursue anything with passion and dedication, you can achieve anything.
JUSTINE MAJELAN - SALON MANAGER
JUSTINE IS OUR SALON MANAGER AND HAS BEEN WORKING ALONGSIDE THE MLC TEAM AND THE INDUSTRY FOR MORE THAN 10 YEARS. SHE Enjoys helping The team at MLc AND ENSURING OUR GUESTS HAVE A GREAT EXPERIENCE. SHE HOPES TO MAKE A POSITIVE AND HAPPY ENVIRONMENT FOR EVERYONE! WHEN SHE'S NOT DESIGNING a promotion, working with pur Team, OR HELPING OUR CLIENTS RECEIVE THE HAPPIEST EXPERIENCE SHE ENJOYS TRAVEL , FINE FOODS AND SPENDING TIME WITH FAMILY. JULIE COUPLAND - level 6 HAIRSTYLIST + COLOUR TECHNICIAN
after completing hair school julie began in the industry at 17 in a salon called planet hair in peterborough, ontario. she shortly found she needed a change from small town life and at 21 moved to toronto. she found a g reat job at the wave zone in the beaches where she found great inspiration travelling to New York and california with sebastian for education, and fashion shows. after about 5 years it was time for julie to move on. she found herself at marc anthony salon where She ended up for the last 20 years. during this time she was involved in numerous photo shoots, hair shows, tv shows. some of which were the mom show, fashion cares, city line, breakfast television, toronto fashion week, tiff, iffa's, cashmere, ctv - thats just to name a few.... she also was involved as an educator for blossoming young stylists. it was a great run meeting amazing people along the way where it brings her today. joining mlc in april of 2018. a team of amazing artists that she has the privilege (says julie) to work with again. she loves making people look and feel beautiful. short, long, straight, curly, colour, she just loves to create!
SABRINA IABONI - Level 6 COLOUR TECHNICIAN
At the age of 18 Sabrina began working in a hair salon. This experience helped her to realize the Hair industry was where she was meant to be. She attended Marvel Beauty school. Sabrina’s natural ability to do hair was inspiring and motivated her to educate herself further. She discovered her love for hair colouring and made a decision to specialize in this field. She constantly educates herself in the newest hair colouring products and techniques, always aspiring to stay on trend. 22 years in the industry her passion and love for her craft have only grown. Sabrina strives on consistently satisfying her clients. She loves having creative freedom and nothing makes her happier then making people look and feel beautiful! Sabrina strongly believes that investing in your hair is one of the best investments you can make for yourself. You are worth it!

GILAD - level 3 HAIRSTYLIST + COLOUR TECHNICIAN
Gilad specializes in designing precision cuts. His artistic vision and impeccable attention to detail make him a great stylist. He enjoys consulting clients to come up with styles individualized to thier needs. A master of his craft, he keeps up with the latest techniques and hair trends as they appear on the fasion scene. He is constanly working on his own techniques. He is trained in and has expanded upon the cutting techniques of Vidal Sasson. He continues to improve his skills through fashion shows, dressing models, dressing hair, and an experienced fashion consultant. Gilad has been a stylist for several fashion magazines. He regularly styles hair for fashion shows, photoshoots and enjoys doing styles for weddings and other special occasions.

GRACE - level 4 HAIRSTYLIST & COLOUR TECHNICIAN
Raised by a mother who is a fashion designer, Grace has had the luxury of being apart of the design process from start to finish. Grace was able to make educated design decisions based on texture, colour and shape from an early age. Intern she has been a designer her whole life. The bulk of Grace’s hair styling talent is ode to her second parent; the beloved Auntie Debbie. Not only is she always trying something new with her hair, she always encourages her clients to sit back, relax and let her work her magic. Coming from an environment where hair is an accessory, Grace has always experimented from ponytail extensions, brilliant colours, various wigs, weaves, as well as her many chemical service experiences. Grace completed hair school only to perfect technically her talents she always had. Precise measurements, angles and colour formulations come naturally to Grace, who is constantly educating herself to discover more, and gain all the knowledge she can consume! She is thankful for every day being able to execute her creative visions and her client’s who have literally put their hair in her hands! Transformation is Grace’s art, she is fearless. Grace reminds everyone “It is never about the hair, only using the hair as an outlet to change your life through your perception of you. You're born beautiful.” It’s only hair, it grows back.
LINDA -level 3 COLOUR TECHNICIAN
AT THE AGE OF 17, LINDA WAS HAND PICKED TO BE APART OF AN APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAM. LINDA WAS TRAINED ON THE FLOOR, UP CLOSE AND PERSON WITH SOME OF THE CITY’S TOP STYLISTS; THE SKILLS YOU CAN NOT LEARN FROM A BOOK. LINDA GRAVITATED TOWARDS COLOUR AND STYLING, NOW BEING A SPECIALIST IN THE FIELD. SHE LOVES CHALLENGES, COLOUR CORRECTIONS, SPECIALIZING IN ASIAN HAIR AND BLONDES! LINDA HAS ATTENDED MULTIPLE HAIR COURSES FOR THEORY, HAIR EXTENSIONS, WIGS, AND SMOOTHING SYSTEMS. LINDA FEELS AS THOUGH EDUCATION IS KEY BENEFITS NOT ONLY HERSELF BUT HER CLIENT’S AS WELL. SHE IS VERY INFLUENCED BY TRAVEL, WHICH SHE FEELS HOLDS HER CREATIVE VISION OF BEAUTY ALL ACROSS THE GLOBE.
SYLVIA - Level 3 HAIRSTYLIST + COLOUR TECHNICIAN
Sylvia knew at a young age that she wanted to be a stylist. At age nine when she was gifted a Barbie doll who’s hair could colour blue and pink she was instantly drawn to the hair world. She always wanted to be an artist, so at age thirteen when she discovered she could be a different kind of artist for a living, she took matters into her own hands. She began by cutting and colouring her own hair, then friends hair and by the time she as fifteen she had clients. She attend Marca hair college and quickly found a position at MLC. She loves everything about the hair industry, but what really gets her creative juices running is colour. She loves that by giving someone a new fabulous colour and look, she empowers them to feel beautiful and shine with new confidence that shows from the inside out.
MEL - Level 2 HAIRSTYLIST + COLOUR TECHNICIAN
Mel has been in the hair industry for seven years. She started in the theatre arts recreating hair from various eras. Inspired to continue with hair, she competed provincially to win a scholarship to Aveda Institute . After graduating she worked at Marc Anthony salons for 5 years , during this time she was involved in creating social media content and worked on morning shows such as Cityline, ET Canada, and global . Currently she works as a session stylist creating photoshoots and working fashion shows in Toronto. Mel is an Evo Advocate for the salon, receiving education to share with the team at MLC as well as our Clients.
EMILY DA SILVA - Level 1 hairSTYLIST
Emily at a young age always dreamed about being a hairstylist. at the age of 15 she began in Natasha’s basement as a assistant not knowing anything. Natasha and ceilidh at the time were in the process of opening their own salon so emily followed. when LeDrew Costello opened, Emily finished high school and started an apprentice program for hair. She completed level 1 then took a break to have her son. Emily is now back to continue her career and will be finishing her level 2 as an apprentice. She is on the floor once a week doing hair as a new talent, taking classes to improve her skills, and will soon to be on the floor full time. “As long as you’ve got passion, faith, and are willing to work hard, you can do anything and have anything you want in this world.”
HUNTER WALKER - New talent
Hunter has not been in the salon Business for very long but she knew it was her calling. She is enjoying learning through weekly classes, and monthly workshops at Le Drew Costello. She has recently begun her apprenticeship as well as working in the salon. Since She was young she has always enjoyed doing her friends hair from straightening, braiding, curling, and soon enough colouring. Hunter looks forward to growing as a stylist in the salon and becoming as great and talented as the stylist she looks up to that teach her everyday.
